I have been listening to the speeches from the Union Leaders in Wisconsin crowing that they are protecting the middle class. I am middle class, my friends are middle class and I have never needed a union to to protect me. When I was in college I had a job in a market, had to join a union and what I learned was most of the folks did the minimum that the union contract called for.
